Open Blend Method have developed a piece of software that provides a framework for coaching led one to ones with a wellbeing focus.
They work directly with businesses and their software guides a leader through a coaching session with their ‘talent’
This session is entirely focused on the ‘talent’, their wellbeing and their unique work/life blend.
I started working with them a couple of years after the business had been founded and they required help with the user interface of their software.
More specifically the dashboard.
This included the ‘blend wheel’ which was a key part of the software. It was designed to show the users work life blend, highlight areas were they were not reaching potential and set objectives as to how they could achieve them.
I worked closely with their product lead to develop a dashboard and blend wheel that clearly represented the users ‘blend/balance’ and enabled the user to easily update their objectives.
I went on to develop a design system for the software, to ensure consistency for them going forwards.
Goodyear was developing a concept for a new product that is going beyond the ‘standard’ approach of improving the tyre performance.
Project x will be an intelligent tyre to be released in 2019. It includes a chip and will communicate to an app on your smartphone.
The App will provide notifications if action is required from the user through diagnostic checks like*:
Tyre pressure, temperature, estimation of the remaining tread wear, grip, and seasonal tire swap.
It also identifies the closest dealership in case of needed maintenance.
For this pitch, we took part in a focus group to understand users’ needs more clearly – interviewing a wide range of users from car savvy owners, and car fanatics to occasional drivers.
Working alongside a UX designer - I developed a look and feel – in keeping with the Goodyear brand.
Initially creating moodboards to define the correct look and feel and then working from low-fidelilty wireframes to design pages demonstrating key features of the app.
